Hindi to English Translation Exercise 49… ये ऐक्सरसाइज़ Hindi to English Translation Book से ली गयी है, जो कि नीचे दिये गये “Spoken English Guru” English Speaking Course की पुस्तकों में से एक है।

उसने फिर धीरे-धीरे कर के सारे मैसेज देखना शुरू किये, उसने देखा कि सभी लोग उसे लगभग एक ही प्रकार का मैसेज कर रहे थे।  मैसेज में यह लिखा था कि उसने एक बहुत ही शर्मनाक काम किया है और उसे इसके लिए बहुत पछतावा होना चाहिए। उसके समझ में ही नहीं आ रहा था कि उसने आखिर ऐसा कौन सा शर्मनाक काम किया है। उसने देखा कि सबने उसके बारे में बहुत ही गलत आरोप लगा रखे हैं और उसे बहुत बुरा भला कह रखा था। उसने देखा कि बिल्ली के बच्चे कि तस्वीर के साथ उसकी फोटो छपी हुई है और नीचे लिखा हुआ था कि सिद्धार्थ ने उसे मारा है। सिद्धार्थ यह देख कर हैरान हो गया, उसने देखा कि उस तस्वीर के नीचे किसी सरकारी संस्थान का भी कमेंट था। वहाँ पर लिखा हुआ था कि हमने पुलिस को बता दिया है और कुछ ही देर में यह लड़का उनकी गिरफ़्त में होगा। यह कमेंट देख कर जैसे उसके पैरों तले ज़मीन खिसक गयी, उसे घबराहट के मारे पसीने छूटने लगे। सिद्धार्थ ने तुरंत अपने दोस्त से बात की और पूरी बात बताई, यह सब जब बता रहा था तभी उसके पिताजी आ गए और उन्होंने पूरी बात सुन ली। सिद्धार्थ की बात सुन कर उसके पिताजी भी सोच में पड़ गए लेकिन उन्होंने सिद्धार्थ को समझाया कि डरने की कोई ज़रुरत नहीं है। सिद्धार्थ ने पहले सोचा कि सभी मैसेज के रिप्लाई दे और उसने एक पोस्ट डाल दिया जिसमें उसने सफाई दी कि उसने कोई ज़ुर्म नहीं किया है। कुछ ही देर में पुलिस घर के पास आ गई और उन्हें नीचे बुलाया। सिद्धार्थ एक सोसाइटी में रहता था और पुलिस के आने पर अचानक से बहुत भारी भीड़ जमा हो गई। सिद्धार्थ को नीचे सबके सामने बहुत डर लग रहा था, पिताजी ने उसे समझाया कि जब गलती उसने नहीं की है तो उसे डरने की कोई ज़रुरत नहीं है। बहुत समझाने के बाद सिद्धार्थ नीचे उतरा और उसे देख कर सब लोग आपस में बातें करने लग गए।

Translation

He then slowly started looking at all the messages, he noticed that everyone was messaging him almost the same way, in the message it was written that he had committed a very shameful act and he should be very sorry for it. . He could not understand what kind of shameful act he had done. He saw that everyone had made very false allegations against him and had bad-mouthed him. He saw his photo posted with a picture of a kitten and it was written below that Siddharth had killed her. Siddharth was surprised to see this; he saw that there was a comment from some government institution below that picture. It was written there that they have told the police and that the boy would be under arrest shortly. Seeing this comment, it was like a nightmare struck him as a bolt out of the blue, he started sweating in panic. Siddharth immediately spoke to his friend and told the whole thing, while telling all this, his father came and he heard the whole thing. Hearing Siddharth’s story, his father also started wondering but he explained to Siddharth that there is no need to be afraid. Siddharth first thought to reply to all the messages and uploaded a post in which he clarified that he had not committed any crime. Shortly after, the police came near the house and called them down. Siddharth lived in a society and suddenly a huge crowd gathered when the police arrived. Siddharth was very scared to come in front of everyone; his father explained to him that when he had not made a mistake, he need not be afraid. After much persuasion, Siddharth came down and after looking at him, everyone started talking among themselves.
