Hindi to English Translation Exercise 64… ये ऐक्सरसाइज़ Hindi to English Translation Book से ली गयी है, जो कि नीचे दिये गये “Spoken English Guru” English Speaking Course की पुस्तकों में से एक है।

दरअसल, प्लान यह था कि वह भेष बदल कर होटल में जायेगा, सिद्धार्थ को आर्डर लेने के लिए बुलाएगा, जैसे ही सिद्धार्थ आर्डर ले कर आएगा उसके बाद वह सिद्धार्थ को बहुत ज़ोर से डांट लगाएगा। इसके बाद वह गुस्से में अपनी प्लेट फेंक देगा, यह देख कर जब मालिक आएगा तो प्रीतम उसे बहुत भला बुरा कहेगा, इस पर होटल का मालिक उससे माफ़ी माँगेगा तो वह उन बच्चों को निकालने को कहेगा। गुस्से में होने के कारण और शायद इतनी बदनामी के कारण वह उन बच्चों को काम से निकाल दे। प्लान के अनुसार, प्रीतम एक बहुत ही अमीर आदमी के भेष में गया, उसने अपने दोस्त हितेश से उसकी ऑडी भी ले ली थी जिससे मालिक को कोई शक नहीं हो। अपनी गाड़ी रोक कर, प्लान के मुताबिक वह होटल के अंदर गया, उसने सिद्धार्थ को इशारे से बुलाया और आर्डर में कुछ अच्छा खाने को लाने को कहा। जब सिद्धार्थ आर्डर ले कर आया, प्रीतम ने एक चम्मच चखते ही प्लेट उठा के ज़मीन पर फेंक दिया, आस – पास बैठे कई सारे लोग जो वहाँ बैठ कर खाना खा रहे थे, सब खाना छोड़ कर तमाशा देखने लगे। इतने शोर के कारण उस ढाबे का मालिक संग्राम सिंह दौड़ा-दौड़ा वहाँ प्रीतम के पास आ पहुँचा। उसने प्रीतम से माफ़ी माँगते हुए उसके सामने हाथ जोड़ लिए और कहा कि बच्चों की गलती के लिए वह बहुत शर्मिंदा है। सब लोग उसे और प्रीतम के बीच हो रहे ड्रामा को बड़े चाव से देख रहे थे, यह देख कर संग्राम सिंह का दिल सूखा जा रहा था। प्रीतम ने बहुत ही ऊँची आवाज़ में सिद्धार्थ को बहुत खरी – खोटी सुनाई, उसने संग्राम सिंह से कहा कि वह बहुत बड़ा आदमी है, कुछ ही मिनटों में पूरी दुकान तहस-नहस करवा सकता है। उसने संग्राम सिंह से कहा कि सिद्धार्थ और श्रेया को अगर उसने होटल से नहीं निकाला तो वह उस होटल का लाइसेंस रद्द करवा देगा, जब बात यहाँ तक पहुँच गयी तब संग्राम सिंह को लगा कि अब उसे ये बात माननी ही पड़ेगी। उसने फ़ौरन ही दोनों बच्चों को नौकरी से निकाल दिया, इसके बाद उसने प्रीतम को बड़े ही सम्मान के साथ खाना खिलाया।

Translation

Being angry and facing so much humiliation, he would expel those children from work. According to the plan, Pritam went under the guise of a very rich man, and he had also taken his Audi from his friend Hitesh so that the owner had no doubt. Stopping his car, according to the plan he went inside the hotel, he made gestures to Siddharth and asked him to bring some good food from the menu. When Siddharth brought the order, Pritam, after tasting a bit of it, picked up the plate and threw it on the ground, many people sitting nearby, who were sitting there and having their food, all left the food and started watching the drama. Due to so much noise, Sangram Singh, the owner of that dhaba, ran hurriedly up to Pritam. He apologized to Pritam, folded his hands in front of him and said that he was very embarrassed for the children’s mistake. Everyone was watching the drama happening between him and Pritam very keenly, seeing that Sangram Singh’s heart began to sink. Pritam humiliated Siddharth by shouting at the top of his voice, he told Sangram Singh that he is a big shot, he could make the entire shop get destroyed in a few minutes. He told Sangram Singh that if he did not expel Siddharth and Shreya from the hotel, he would cancel the license of the hotel when the matter got worse to such an extent, Sangram Singh felt that he would have to accept this. He immediately fired both children from the job, after which he served lunch to Pritam, treating him with the utmost respect.
