Rohit: Sir, may I come in?
रोहित: सर, क्या मैं अंदर आ सकता हूँ?

Mr. Kapoor: Sure, get in. Take a seat.
मिस्टर कपूर: ज़रूर, अंदर आओ। बैठो।

Rohit: Good morning sir!
रोहित: गुड मॉर्निंग सर!

Mr. Kapoor: Good morning Rohit. Why did you want to meet me? Is there a problem?
मिस्टर कपूर: गुड मॉर्निंग रोहित। तुम मुझसे क्यों मिलना चाहते थे? कोई समस्या?

Rohit: Yes sir. There is a slight problem that everyone in the office is complaining about.
रोहित: हाँ सर। एक छोटी समस्या है जिसकी ऑफिस में हर कोई शिकायत कर रहा है।

Mr. Kapoor: Don’t hesitate, Rohit. Tell me what it is.
श्री कपूर: रोहित संकोच न करो। बताओ, क्या बात है।

Rohit: Sir, after having a discussion with my colleagues I’ve come here to talk about the pressure that the increased workload is putting on us.
रोहित: सर, मैं अपने सहयोगियों के साथ चर्चा करने के बाद यहां उस दिक्कत के बारे में बात करने आया हूं जो बढे हुए वर्कलोड से हमें हो रही है।

Mr. Kapoor: Increased workload?
श्री कपूर: काम का बोझ बढ़ गया है?

Rohit: Yes sir. Since last month when two people retired there has been no new recruitment which has increased the workload over the rest of us.
रोहित: हाँ सर। पिछले महीने जब दो लोग रिटायर हुए थे तो कोई नई भर्ती नहीं हुई है, जिससे हममें से बाकी लोगों पर काम का बोझ बढ़ गया है।

Mr. Kapoor: I see. Go on.
श्री कपूर: मैं समझ सकता हूँ। आगे बताओ।

Conversation Between Employee and Boss…

Rohit: Sir, we now have to stay back an extra hour every other day to finish up all the work on time. We already work for 8 hours and honestly, no one is ready to work extra hours without any bonus or increase in salary. People are demanding for either their salary to be increased or new employees to be recruited.
रोहित: सर, हमें अब हर दूसरे दिन एक अतिरिक्त घंटा रुकना पड़ता है ताकि समय पर काम पूरा हो सके। हम पहले से ही 8 घंटे काम करते हैं और सच कहूँ तो कोई भी अतिरिक्त बोनस या वेतन में वृद्धि के बिना काम करने के लिए तैयार नहीं है। लोग या तो अपने वेतन में वृद्धि या नए कर्मचारियों की भर्ती के लिए माँग कर रहे हैं।

Mr. Kapoor: I understand. Their demands sound reasonable. Let me think about it. I will announce my decision tomorrow morning in the meeting.
श्री कपूर: मैं समझता हूं। उनकी मांगें वाजिब हैं। मुझे इसके बारे में सोचने दो। मैं कल सुबह मीटिंग में अपने निर्णय की घोषणा करूंगा।

Rohit: Okay sir! I go and inform everyone.
रोहित: ठीक है सर! मैं जाकर सबको सूचित कर देता हूँ।

Mr. Kapoor: Yes, you do that. I’ll see you at the meeting tomorrow. Ask everyone to go home now.
श्री कपूर: हां, तुम ऐसा करो। मैं तुमसे कल मीटिंग में मिलता हूँ। सभी को अभी घर जाने के लिए कह दो।

Rohit: You’re giving us the rest of the day off?
रोहित: आप हमें बाकी के दिन की छुट्टी दे रहे हैं?

Mr. Kapoor: Yes, you guys deserve some rest. You all have been working very hard.
श्री कपूर: हाँ, तुम लोग थोड़ा आराम डिजर्व करते हो। तुम सभी बहुत मेहनत कर रहे हो।

Rohit: Thank you, sir! See you tomorrow!
रोहित: थैंक यू सर! कल मिलते हैं!
